TRT Results Timeline: What to Expect Week by Week
October 6, 2026 · 5 min read · Clinically reviewed
Weeks 1 to 4
Some men notice better sleep, mood and libido within the first few weeks. Others feel little at first; that's normal while levels settle.
Weeks 4 to 12
Energy, drive and sexual function usually improve most noticeably here. Your first follow-up labs at 6 to 8 weeks tell us whether your dose is right.
Months 3 to 6
Body composition changes start to show, especially if you're training and eating enough protein: a little more muscle, a little less belly fat.
Months 6 to 12
Bone density and red blood cell changes take the longest. By now your dose is dialed in and labs are checked every quarter.
If you don't feel meaningfully better after three to six months at a good level, we'll look for other causes rather than just raising the dose.
