Sermorelin
Sermorelin encourages your pituitary gland to release more of your own growth hormone, rather than replacing it. It was once FDA-approved as Geref and was discontinued for business reasons. Today it's available as a compounded prescription.

How it works
Sermorelin mimics the hormone that signals your pituitary to release growth hormone in natural pulses. Men use it for sleep quality, recovery and body composition. We check IGF-1 before and during treatment to confirm it's working and stays in range.
How we monitor it
Baseline IGF-1, then at 8–12 weeks and every 6 months.
A good fit for
- Men focused on sleep, recovery and body composition
- Men who want to support their own hormone production rather than replace it
Things to know
- Not currently FDA-approved; compounded by a licensed, accredited 503A pharmacy
- Injection-site reactions, flushing, headache or trouble sleeping at first
- Not for men with active cancer or certain pituitary conditions; we screen first
FAQ
Sermorelin questions
Is sermorelin legal?
Yes. The FDA determined in 2013 that the original brand, Geref, was withdrawn for business rather than safety reasons, which allows licensed pharmacies to compound it for individual prescriptions.
Is sermorelin the same as HGH?
No. HGH replaces growth hormone directly. Sermorelin prompts your own pituitary to make more, within your body's normal feedback limits.
How much does it cost?
$169/month as an add-on to any membership, including medication, supplies and IGF-1 monitoring.
